Paramahansa Yogananda
Parmahansa Yogananda (January 5, 1893 – March 7, 1952) was a monk and yogi who founded Self Realization Fellowship and Yogoda Satsanga Society of India. He is known as “the Father of yoga in the West”.
Yogananda emphasized the underlying unity of the world’s great religions, and taught universally applicable methods for attaining direct personal experience of God. [1]
Yogananda is on the Christos Mission to help reclaim Earth and her inhabitants from their oppressors.
