Spiritual Growth
-
The Eightfold Path
The long term goal is to be free of mental suffering, excessive complaints, and disharmony. These are goals that all humans can work towards no matter what their spiritual beliefs are.
-
Forgiveness
“Don’t be a doormat or cooperate with evil, but in your heart separate them—their souls—from their misguided actions, and give them love sincerely. Thereby you will attain self-mastery—a peace within yourself that cannot be destroyed by the actions of others.” – Paramahansa Yogananda
-
Gratitude is Power
When we are constantly in the state of wanting things to be different than what they are, it can be draining. We can drain ourselves and we might drain others. This thoughtform can be so strong that we can be given exactly what we said we wanted, and still find a reason to complain.
-
Respond vs. React
We empower ourselves when we respond to situations instead of reacting to them.
-
Spiritual Catalyst
A spiritual catalyst is someone who comes into your life to open a door to some sort of transformation. Sometimes this can be perceived as a potential romantic relationship, but often times it is not a long term partnership because the relationship was meant to be temporary.
